These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to the website at this domain and the educational services arranged through it. Services are provided by Invest Ahead Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in England and Wales (Company No. 17215420).
By submitting an enquiry through this website and proceeding to enrol in a course, you agree to these Terms.
1. About This Website
This website operates under the name IA Lessons, an educational information resource administered by Invest Ahead Limited. The name IA Lessons is used as the designation of this web resource and does not constitute a separate legal entity, registered trade mark, or trading name distinct from Invest Ahead Limited.
2. Services Provided
We provide live online language courses in Hebrew, English, and Arabic, delivered via Zoom in small groups of no more than eight students. All services are described on this website for information purposes only; no purchase is made on this website directly. Services are agreed and arranged by direct communication following enquiry submission.
3. Enrolment
Enrolment in any course group is subject to the following:
- Completion and submission of an enquiry through this website or by direct contact
- Attendance at a placement interview arranged by us
- Placement into an appropriate group at our discretion, based on the outcome of the interview
- Acceptance of these Terms and our pricing structure
We reserve the right to decline enrolment at our sole discretion.
4. Pricing and Payment
The current rate for all courses is £12 per hour, applicable to all languages and all levels. This rate is subject to change; any change will be communicated in advance.
Payment is due monthly, in arrears — that is, after the classes for that period have been completed. Invoices are issued by Invest Ahead Limited and are payable within the period stated on each invoice. Flexible payment arrangements may be agreed by prior discussion.
No payment is collected through this website. All payments are handled by invoice issued directly by Invest Ahead Limited.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Classes cancelled by us will be rescheduled or credited against the next invoice period. We endeavour to provide reasonable notice of any cancellation.
Students who miss scheduled classes without prior notice are not entitled to a refund or credit for those classes. Where absence is notified in advance, we will endeavour to accommodate a make-up session where reasonably practicable.
If you wish to withdraw from a course, please notify us in writing at [email protected]. Any outstanding balance for classes already completed remains payable.
6. Delivery and Fulfilment
All courses are delivered online via Zoom. It is the student's responsibility to ensure they have a stable internet connection and a suitable device capable of running Zoom. Links to sessions are provided by email in advance of each class period. We do not accept liability for technical difficulties on the student's side.
7. Student Conduct
Students are expected to attend sessions punctually, engage constructively, and treat all teachers and fellow students with respect. We reserve the right to remove a student from a group, without refund of advance payments (if any), if their conduct materially disrupts sessions or is deemed unacceptable at our discretion.
8. Intellectual Property
All course materials, session recordings (where made by us), and content provided during classes remain the intellectual property of Invest Ahead Limited or the respective teacher. Students may not reproduce, distribute, or share course materials without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Our liability to you in connection with any service is limited to the total amount paid by you for that service. We do not accept liability for indirect, consequential, or special losses of any kind. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
10. Disputes
If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us in the first instance at [email protected]. We will endeavour to resolve any dispute promptly and in good faith. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any material changes will be notified to active students by email. Continued use of our services following notification of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
